Who on this earth who is overweight doesn’t want to get rid of that flabby belly? Most people, over 75% of Americans are overweight and they want to quickly drop 5,10,15 or ever 20 pounds of belly fat. And do it quickly. I ask, why they want to lose weight and their reasons are many… Anything from self-esteem to better overall quality of life. Some have a special occasion they need to be fit for, such as a wedding, and they ask me “Chris, how do I lose 12 pounds in 3 weeks”. The part that makes me laugh is the fact that they come back each year with the same question… So when it’s time to meet family or go to that interview, it’s important to work out, but not the rest of the year? Well… I’ve come up with some simple tips to help reduce body fat quickly.
The simplest and easiest way is to use good exercise with a simple exercise plan that doesn’t require big fancy equipment and can be done at home.
If you stop eating, you’ll lose weight… Around 10-15 lbs in 2-3 weeks because of the calorie loss. But that’s not the right way to do it, because you’ll also lose muscle, and water weight. You’ll look and feel thinner for the moment, but it’s not something that will last :(… You will only feel thinner, but have more fat, and start feeling more tired, because the body doesn’t have energy to spend.
When your body goes into starvation mode…
When you reach this point, it spells trouble. This is when your body no longer takes calories from fat, but starts breaking down your muscle tissue. The body needs energy, but if you do not feed it right, it will take that energy elsewhere. Instead of taking it from fat, which is now stored as a ‘reserve’, it will start to eat your muscles slowly, but surely.
This process shuts down your metabolism…
Instead of burning calories from fat, it will store fat to protect the body from dying! This is horrible and is doing the exact opposite of what we want it to do…
So if you think short-term and would want to lose some weight fast, simply eat an apple or two per day until you have lost the weight… But of course, that’s dangerous and nothing like the recommended method we’ll take advantage of here.
If you don’t think you have time for exercising (to lose belly fat) you are WRONG. It’s because you DON’T exercise that you feel tired and don’t feel like you have time during the day. If you start working out just 20-30 minutes 3-4 times per week, you can drop pounds faster than you’d ever imagine… It happened for me! I got a six pack in less than 45 days following this simple formula, AND I cheated!
